Mr. Serious Turns One!

Ahhh, this little man has done it again. Despite out best efforts, mom, grandmom and I could not get him to crack a smile for us---we got a few fleeting grins, but alas, the smile evaded us once again. I can't say I have ever seen a more serious one year old. But I do have to say that what he hides in smiles, he more than makes up for in the cuteness department!  Happy Birthday little man- it has been so wonderful to watch you grow this year.  Momma- enjoy your sneak peek- you earned it!

These handsome brothers were a pleasure to photograph this morning! The camera just loved them, and it was the perfect way to spend the start of a gorgeous day!   It was wonderful meeting you guys- don't break too many hearts!!

This little darling stole my heart the minute I saw her...her wispy strawberry blonde hair reminded me a little bit of Cooper's when he was a baby, and her sweet, delicate little features took my breath away. Maybe it's because we share a birthday, but I just couldn't get enough of her...and she didn't seem to mind me too much either!  It was so lovely meeting you little K (oh, maybe another reason I love her- she shares a name with one of my absolute favorite people- my little sis), and it was wonderful catching up with your parents too- it had been too long!  Enjoy your sneak peek B family, and if little K gets 20 comments on her blog post, she will geta  complimentary 8x10 with her order!

Wrestling Buddies!

So this session started off just how you would expect a session with twin toddler tots to go---a little crazy, a lot fun, and a definite challenge.  After they warmed up to me though we started getting some cute shots. Emboldened, and while they were sitting together on a crate, I asked little man to hug his sister....or maybe it was vice versa.....and within seconds they were rolling around on the grass.  I just couldn't help myself---how wonderful to have a best friend for life, there with you from the first minute. We go some really cute shots mom, but these make me want to cry---they really show how much love they have for each other and how much fun they have together!  So while you will get a bunch of non-wrestling shots in your gallery, these were my favs, and the ones I couldn't help but share- enjoy!

Sweet Little Pumpkin!

This sweet little pumpkin was such a treat to photograph this morning. We had started her first birthday session on Irene eve,and had to end early when the dark clouds rolled in. I can't say I'm upset about that though, because today, the little pumpkin warmed right up to me and we were able to get some beautiful smiles and great expressions out of her!  And, this session reminded me of just how much I love the fall--great seeing you and the mini me today D!

Daddy's Girl

I have to start off by saying that I have never seen a baby girl so infatuated with her daddy---it was pretty crazy! Even at three days old (yes, you saw that correctly- this little chunk weighing almost eleven pounds was only three days old in front of the camera) she focused on him wherever he was in the room. And he did the same for her....too cute!  Although baby girl made us work for them big time, we got some amazing shots! So glad I was able to capture these images for you!  It was lovely meeting you and your family, and, if sweet K gets 20 comments on the blog, she will get a complimentary 8x10 with her order!

Salisbury Mini Sessions!
