The Perfect Gift

I can't think of a more perfect gift to this family than a beautiful, sweet baby girl...unless its maybe a photo session to take pictures of this sweet baby girl!  Today's session was a shower gift- and what made me so excited about this session was how excited the giver was. She raised a good point-- most other baby gifts would be a distant memory 5 years from now, but custom newborn photography is forever. I'm so glad I could be a part of such a special gift, for such a wonderful little family. It was such a pleasure meeting you three today- enjoy that little gift of yours-pteradactyl cries and all! Ten Pounds, Ten Ounces of Adorable!

Nothing better than a chubby little guy, and this guy definitely was a chubby one...and a sweet one, and a sleepy one!  He certainly made my morning wonderful, and Momma was really happy that he cooperated for his photos too!  I think my favorite from theis session is the first one, with his adorable turtle bedding, and the vintage crate-- so glad mom thought to bring some cute stuff along with her for our shoot! Model Material.

This fantastically adorable 5 year old just made my day today-- she showed up for her photo session with a trunk full of amazing clothes, the most gorgeous big brown eyes, and the cutest grin and dimples.  And, to top it all off- she LOVED getting her picture taken, and was just a natural in front of the camera.  Sigh...that makes for a very happy me, and hopefully a very happy momma after she checks out this sneak peek of her stunning daughter's session. Just Perfect.

This sweet little girl was just perfect for me this morning.  And mom and dad were a great help too--sorry about the rainforest-like conditions, but hey, baby girl slept like a charm!  I couldn't get over her sweet little smiles, and her long brown hair-- I think dad is going to have his hands full with this one!  So glad we were able to get together this morning, and congratulations on your perect little munchkin! And LIttle Man Makes Three!

This family was a blast to work with today at Pemberton Park.   You gotta love it when a family pulls out the big guns for their photo session- grandmom, a bottle, and a bright orange bib to wave around--makes for a happy photoagraher and some eye contact, even out of a three month old.  Poor little man was wearing a heavy sweater  for the first part of our session today (who would have though it would be 85 in mid-October?) and was such a trooper---  it may not have felt like fall but today was just a perfectly fantastic fall session-  thanks P family :) And remember to have your friends and family comment- 20 comments to the blog and you'll get an 8x10 compliments of KSP.

Darling Miss A- Six Months Old!

This sweet little peanut gets cuter and cuter every time I see her, and lucky me- we still have two sessions left this year, so I will be able to get my gorgeous baby girl fix again before I even know it!  We lucked out with the weather and caught a gorgeous morning over at the campus of Salisbury University to document Miss A's six month birthday. She was full of smiles and we had so much fun!  Don't forget to tell all of your friends to leave a comment Little A--  momma needs another 8x10 to put up on the walls :)

Sweet Angel Baby

This little one was just as beautiful and just as sweet as they come.  I have been really lucky lately with having such fantastic newborns to photograph.  Thanks so much momma for bringing her by this morning for her photos- it was the best way I can imagine starting my day!  And if you think this little munchkin is as sweet as they come, leave a comment on the blog and she'll get an 8x10 to hang in her nursery.
